Poa fish is a freshwater fish of Bangladesh whose scientific name is Pama pama. The fish is commonly found in the estuaries of Bangladesh and the Bay of Bengal. Many call it pama, kai bhola or poa. Rich in vitamins and minerals (39.1%/cal) – a good source of Selenium, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Calcium, and Copper. Contains a moderate amount of risky components that may include saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium (0.01%/oz). Good source of proteins (40% of DV/100g).
